NMD-3 Gamma Radiation Monitor
NMD-3 is a low-resolution spectrometer of gamma radiation made from the cheap and reliable plastic scintillator. The purpose of the device is to detect radioactive material passing by inside a vehicle, conveyor, air duct, or piping.
- Low cost and robust plastic scintillator
- Spectroscopic signal analysis for radiation source discrimination and improved sensitivity
- Customizable: Detector shape and dimensions, software interface, and hardware peripherals are chosen according to customers requirements
Prototype model parameters
